I booked my ticket this morning!!!
Anyone else going on Dec 18th to the 7 30 session? I am so excited for this!!!
Also, I've heard that people often talk to Nicola after the play is finished? Is that true? Because I would kill to talk to Ruth!!

^ YAY for going to see the play I'll be there during previews myself. Nicola is very kind and does talk to fans after shows. Though she can take her time getting out of the stage door so don't be discouraged if you are waiting for ages it may seem. She will pop out at some point.

Note to self... wait at stage door for ages when play ends It will be so worth it! I would love to make a sign saying Nicola Walker: Bonkers but Brilliant to hold up when the play is over and everyone is applauding but I don't want to piss off everyone else in the audience and or be mean to the other actors in the play so now I can wait at the stage door instead.

I plan on going January 4th for the captioned one. I was wondering though what exactly that meant? Is it just subtitles or do other things change? Subtitles might be a good thing since I'm traveling from Belgium. Would love to see Nicola though

What they did was have some sort of digital sign that had the words to the dialog scroll. Now it is just like on tv when you put the subtitles on or mute and the words come on the screen. If you want to meet Nicola best to wait by the stage door. Depends on how long you wish to wait she will pop out at some point ask the box office where the stage door is they will tell you. They are good about passing along notes to the actors.

ah that's good to hear, thanks! . I'm bringing my 14-year-old sister, so subtitles are def a good thing. Do you know if Nicola is definitely performing all dates?

They are good about passing along notes to the actors. Getting excited now. So you are allowed to wait by the stage door? With John Simm and Hamlet I waited ten minutes just near the bar and he was out standing right next to me within ten I'm pretty sure that was an unusual occurence though. How long did you wait if you don't mind me asking? Of course, I would be willing to wait for ages for NW re giving notes to actors; do you mean like a fan letter or do you mean a note as in telling them that there are fans waiting? Just not sure which you meant.

I waited almost 30min. she and Zoe were taking forever to come out LOL!! Notes as in let the person know you are there to see the show and you'll be waiting around after if they are free for a chat. Hope this helps. You are lucky you got to meet John Simm my friend waited ages last year and he never came out in between the matinee and evening performance.

30 minutes is nothing. I once waited nearly two hours for French & Saunders to come out of the stage door. Apparently they were having a bit of a party, because so many people came walking out with a slice of cake And you're definitely lucky to have met John Simm. That's brilliant!

^I was very lucky! I happened to be standing next to his family and friends without knowing it. They were in my theatre row. So I think he came out early to see them and his son was with him. Otherwise, I doubt he would have come out at all. As it was, considering the way he feels about fans and fandom, he was absolutely lovely to me.
So I should tell the theatre peeps before the show starts?

Rehearsal pics for "Season's Greetings" - now available from that page. Only 1 of NW but my TV boyfriend (Oli Chris) is looking very swoonsome! Plus the message "more dates on sale Nov 18th" from NT twitter
