Thought this would be fun.. since we know Ruth to be an avid reader, what type of books do you think she reads and why.
My thoughts: Besides the fantastic Jane Austen, she could be reading historic fiction or even somethings about sports. I was really impressed with her knowledge about American hockey! Way to keep up!

I would imagine Ruth's book collection to be fairly eclectic. Everything from Art to History to the Classics to Poetry - somehow I imagine a lot of poetry. In the 4.9 commentary NW says she was disappointed that Ruth was reading Austen - she felt that Ruth was more likely to read Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. Along those lines perhaps Pride and Prejudice and Zombies has made its way to her bookshelf. Somehow I always pictured Ruth reading Jane Eyre - both dark and romantic. I think it would be hilarious if Ruth were a closet spy novel junkie. Talk about taking your work home with you. In the Personnel Files - Section X makes a note about the books Ruth is check out of the library - although Harry notes that these were for research purposes - Still, makes me wonder what books were being checked out!

I kinda wonder what sort of books Ruth would be reading as well. It would be hilarious if Ruth turned out to be a closet spy novel junkie Like Nicola mentioned in the commentary, I could definitely picture Ruth reading something like Frankenstein. Perhaps Dracula as well?

Nicola did mention to soysauce and I that Ruth wouldn't even read the Zombie Pride and Prejudice. I can see Ruth read Greek lit for sure. Hahaha love the idea of Ruth reading spy novels

NHL?! Ruth or NW? I'd like to take her to a game. Charles Dickens+ 18/19 centry History+ Romance would be my guess

Ruth for the NHL though I'm sure you know newagent that in that ep they made up the team as it was never in the NHL.
Ditto on the books. Though Ruth was reading Jane Austen like I've said before Nicola could never see Ruth reading Austen loved her reaction to it when we asked her about it.

^ I don't see Ruth liking Jane Austen much either, mainly because I don't and there is much about me that is very Ruth like. It's part of why I like the character so much.
I don't see her reading all that much ninteenth century stuff to be honest aside from the gothic novels and poetry of the era maybe.
I see her reading alot of stuff that relates to history- she'd have to to know what she does!
