Living in an unhealthy obsession of Ruth and Harry means thinking ahead to the withdrawals I will have after series 10. So, in order to be able to continue in my "escape from real life" world I'd love to see a series of Ruth and Harry at home. Married. In love and not afraid to show it. Would it even get out of the starting blocks? Uh..... dunno. On the other hand, just how many other unhealthy Ruth and Harry obsessions are out there? Lots I think. Not that it would be anything close to the caliber of Spooks but....? There could be drama to it couldn't there? Them trying to maintain secrecy of their former job. Hiding from the "bad guys", sticky situations, past decisions coming back to them. I know I'm reaching, but the thought of coming home in the afternoons to housework isn't nearly as appealing. Besides, I'm selfish when it comes to NW and PF. I've never seen such brilliant acting in my life (and I'm not exactly a spring chicken) and don't want to do without it. It's very simple. They have made me love them by taking me all over the emotional spectrum! Why would anyone not want to continue to watch these two perform over and over? They are truly amazing as one but togther they are quite a force. So there you have it. Complete crazy...but I can do crazy quite well.

I ABSOLUTELY agree! I'm quite taken with the pair. They are, in my opinion, the perfect couple. They had an unrequited love that made me cry in S5, and actually got me quite down for a few short days, (the time before anyone knew NW was coming back) thankfully I reached 5.5 at almost the perfect point in time because I found out Ruth was coming back just a few days after watching her sad departure. I'd hate to think of having to wait the THREE YEARS most Spooks fan had to endure. When I found out the hope and happiness that filled my being was tangable. I then managed to read EVERY H/R fanfic ever written and wrote a few myself. Enter S8- Such a heart-wrenching reunion. Still so much in love but the emotional turmoil and obsticles to hurdle before they could even think about reuniting. Grasping and re-watching every little scene they had together. Looking for the meaning behind every glance and inflection of voice. There was again hope. S9- A beautiful first 3 episodes. So much H/R I feel spoiled. Again re-watching all the scenes. Over-analyising the looks, their body language. Daydreaming about the behind the scenes that I'd love to witness. Driving myself crazy with silly fanfic fanatsies cause their voices refuse to leave my mind. Yeah, I understand. THOROUGHLY. So glad I'm not the only one.
