This was just so lovely. Nicola has again impressed me to no end. I really appriciate even just the way she acts out a phone conversation. It's just so believable. I can practically hear the person on the other line, she's that brilliant. And the ending was so sweet. I admit having a happy tear in my eye as well as a goofy grin on my face.
It amazes me how a writer, director and actor can pull a simple radio play together and despite the short 12 minute length, draw me in where I absoultely feel for the characters and actually care about them. Getting caught up in this small glipse of thier world. I love it. It is a fine art form and I'm so glad Nicola does this every now and again. She truely is such an amazing talent.
Also if anyone can tell me the song played at the very end. I have it in my head and I can't place it. I want to say it's from a movie with the lyrics, 'those days are gone.' Maybe 'Notting Hill'? It's going to drive me crazy. So any insight would be loved.
Ta Jode for this? Such a gem. Where on earth did you find it?

So well delivered by Nicola. Loved it.

I loved this it felt natural as if we were flies on a wall into Nicola's character's life. The whole phone conversation was fantastic. I liked the interaction between the two just through the emails it had a feel of reality and the way things have moved in terms of how we meet people now days. Loved it YAY Nicola for being Brilliant!!! How did I find this well now I do have my sources
