New Features on the forum

OK I've been adding some features to the forum.

Here are the new features:

--Twitter Icon in mini profile (this you see on the threads on the left side below your name/Avi) Here you can link your twitter account just like if you did this with AOL MSN..... Now I have in my mini profile this feature to link to the NW_Forum Twitter page. To add Twitter in your mini go to your PROFILE - MODIFY PROFILE scroll down to where you can then just put in your twitter name.

--Twitter and Facebook link in each post. You can tweet the post or Facebook the post to your accounts.

--Like/Dislike button you will see this in the same line as the Tweet or Facebook post. Just like in Facebook you can now Like/Dislike a post

--PM more then one person at a time. When you go to Members then click on the box of the selected members you wish to PM at one time. This saves time in having to send the same message individually now you can select those you wish to PM and it will be sent to that group.

There are some other smaller changes with images like the banner is no longer taking up a lot of space at the top. Any other features I find to add I'll let everyone know in this thread once they are made and working properly for everyone to start using.

Suggestions welcome just don't know if I can do them all depends on what cods are out there. I can always ask proboards and see if someone will make a code for the feature you'd like to see. PM me or post your suggestions.

I like all of the changes except the header. It's a pretty header and I liked it big Reckon we could change that back?

I just got on the forum & the banner was quite a bit larger so I thought good that's better now about 3 minutes later it has shrunk again, puzzling

I saw that as well when the page loaded then it adjusted again. Must be ab issue with the code. I'll give it another day and look into it. If there is still an issue I'll change it back. The image should be a normal size. Oh forget it I'll take out the code and then look for a better one this will drive me crazy!!

I like that the banner is smaller now, and a gorgeous one at that! Love the new Twitter and FB links too. I'd love those for my own forum as well.

OK a minor update. I moved all fanfic threads to just 1 location in the Spooks board under Fan Fiction. Just trying to clean things up so it is easier to nav around this place.
