Soy pointed out the other day as we were watching Vicar of Dibley we finally got who the latest crush that vicar had hanging up was Robson Greene. We've been trying to figure out who it was until finally we watched it again and notice that it was him.

I have finally finished all of the TE series! Took quite the break in the middle, but am now done. I really enjoyed the series - although S1&2 did feel a bit dated, S3 not quite as much.
I'm sorry there isn't another episode in S3 (or even a series 4), it felt quite unfinished. Perhaps they were anticipating another series and it didn't come through?
I really enjoyed David Creegan and Susan Taylors interactions, they were the best part of the series. Would have like to have seen a bit more instead of Creegan's strange "relationship" with Hannah.
I had Diana Riggs introducing the series on my DVDs - she played Emma Peel in the Avengers - was she also a Bond Girl? I didn't know that -
Now I'm curious how the US version differs - hummm, I sense a project in my future. I've heard the UK version is way better and I know the US venison didn't last very long.

You can find several episodes of TE - the US version on youtube. I haven't watched them yet, but have heard semi-good things. Although the gist of the reviews say the UK version is way better. As if there were any doubt!! PS - a bit off topic, but I've started to watch Wire in the Blood. And I though TE was creepy in sections!

Watched episode 3 of series 1 yesterday, and although it does seem slightly dated now, it's still a nice enough series to watch. I had a feeling that Nicola's character was a bit neglected in episodes 1 and 2, but she was definitely featured a lot more, and had much more lines in this episode. Of course they're all two-parters, so I'll still need to watch episode 4 tonight to know how this plot ends!

I've now watched all of series 1, and I definitely enjoyed all the episodes. Sometimes the episodes look a bit outdated, which is mainly down to the mobile phones and computers they're using. But the plots are good, the acting is good, so all in all a very enjoyable series to watch! ;D

I just noticed that the big box set is only £12.99 on Amazon.co.cuk, bargain! I might need to get that someday soon, along with the Prime Suspect box set.

I think it is. I've not bought the boxset myself yet, but I'm pretty sure I will at some point. It's looking slightly outdated now, but I personally don't mind that at all. In fact, I think it adds something to the series. Good plotlines and good acting
