Captain's Log - Code Orange for limited security threat.
Sighted today the tall great Wizard. At long last, he has returned. He arrived when he meant to. How I've missed thee!
All welcomed our dear friend with open arms. Though it was a brief visit, there was a mess of confetti thrown in celebration. Clean-up in Aisle 4! Bring a mop, because the chocolate melted after a while and bottles of White Burgundy were spritzed open.
Gandalf sounds like he's been busy. Hopefully he can find his way home after being stuck in time. I agree with the First officer. If we see him again..."You're NICKED!"
Welcome back, GG79. Hopefully your next visit won't be too long of a wait.
The Captain

First Officers Log: Just a quick log on something GG79 had to deal with concerning barrels and wires. Wondering if he meant these Or could there be more? The crew will keep their eyes open for more just in case. End Log

MEDICAL LOG
It has come to my attention that while R/H S8 relationship is finally becoming more stable (Thank goodness, I've never seen the crew plow through so much chocolate, gin, and anti-depressants before - It's a good thing we stalked up before arriving at our destination), it appears our view screen is rather shaky and after seeing 8.4 - it looks to remain so until 8.5. I know it made me slightly nauseous, and not in the way 8.1 made me want to throw-up on my own shoes due to sheer tension on the screen (8.4 still is a cracking episode - don't miss out!) I would like to request a red shirt to fix the problem. Until then, Dramamine is available - feel free to contact me down in Sickbay.
I can also report to our First Officer - yes, those do look suspiciously like the barrels with wire spotted by observant lifeforms at one of Earth's train stations which kept the crew of the mighty ship Kudos busy for a spell. I will keep vigilant for more and report in if any more are spotted.

First Officer Log THANK YOU Doc for the dramamine I know I've been needing it in the most way.
In our last Officer's Meeting we have noted that some of Gandalf's 'leaks' have already happened. We are still waiting to see a few more that were mentioned. We will be taking a look over our notes some more and have a full report to follow.
Well the Captain and I are going to 'Fire up the Quattro' for next week's shore leave. Hopefully during our visit to our favorite planet known as England we will be able to do some 'hoodie hunting'.
I am looking forward to watching ep. 5 on another planet instead of in my quarters. There is a possiblity as well next week that we might get to chat with Nicola if so a report will be written up. *Cross fingers that we do get to chat with her*
Hopefully we will have another siting of Gandalf soon if so please make sure to log it as we will not be here to see it.
Ya'll TA!!!

MEDICAL LOG
Ah! The Captain and First Officer have taken the Quattro for some shore leave in England - Happy Hoodie Hunting guys! - Leaving the rest of us in charge of the ship - what were they thinking?!?
After arm wrestling most of the crew - I won the privilege of sitting in the big chair for the next episode. I'm all ready perched here with a large bowl of popcorn* and am not planning on moving anytime soon.
Doc
*I switched over to popcorn from Cadbury chocolate after last weeks incident - I was screaming "She's EVIL Lucas! She's EVIL!" and chucked the chocolate at the view screen with a bit too much umph! At least with the popcorn, I can throw as hard as I like and there's no harm done. Also note - liquids have had a 10 ft. ban rule since 8.1 - what can I say? I'm a nervous viewer.

MEDICAL LOG
I have received not one but two communications from our faithful Captain and First Officer! Apparently hoodie hunting is not going as planned, but contact has been successful with another entity. But! - their trip is not over yet - so I would be on the lookout if I were GG1979. I can't wait for details.
Enjoyed watching 8.5 in the big chair. Still needed Dramamine. All remains quiet on the Gandalf front - too quiet if you ask me.

First Officers Log: I will be waiting by the Eye tomorrow at 13:00 thank you Doc for sending out the message.
I do have loads to tell when I come back and a special treat for our Doc and Security officer for taking care of the ship while the Captain and I have been away. I do want to confirm 1 thing about filming in a warm climate and yes Nicola herself said that they did film in Miroca (sp) and Peter was there as well. While we have been here we have taken the time to do some more Spooks tours pictures will be posted on our return to the ship.
Yes the Captain and I had the chance to meet the very lovely Nicola after her play. Will share some information about that on our return. A full report of the play will be up by Tue.
I do not have much more time as I need to meet up with the Captian again in a few hours.
Yes Gandalfgrey1979 if you are up for a meet up you know where to go and what time tomorrow.

MEDICAL LOG
ACK! The Captain and First Officer are due back today and I have made a mess!
*Runs, gets vacuum, starts to clean up the popcorn all over the bridge. Chucks the empty gin and wine bottles into the recyclers. Pulls the silly string off the consoles. Wipes chocolate off of face. Scurries back down to Sickbay.*
Quick everyone! Look busy!

First Officer Log
I just received outside communications that GG79 was spotted. I was busy in a 2hr. meeting earlier today so I missed him. Glad to see he is still looking around. We have missed our little messages from him.
Doc thank you for cleaning up the mess before we came back. Everyone back to stations and prepare yourselves for the last two episodes. Make sure you take anything to help with the shaking camera. Not so bad for ep. 6 but still good to have it on hand just in case.

First Officers Log I have just received some Intel from a reliable source that Gandalf has been spotted this morning. I think he has a new tactical plan of sneaking in while our crew are sleeping. Doc and I have been discussing some of GG posts trying to figure out what is still to come in the last two eps. and what we have seen that GG has graciously given us information on. 1. Still have not seen another returning female character 2. No sign of Harry's postcards, but did ask a few sources about this 3. At least one red herring about Warmer Climate. Though this was officially confirmed by the person who was there where Doc had first posted about a certain filming location 4. There have been a few deaths so far this series will go back to do a full body count. Though with 2 ep. left to go it will be interesting to see if there are any more survivors. Personally the next death I want to see is Christine 2.0 if Ros or Lucas don't take care of her I would if I could 5. Love was all around just not what we would have wanted to see 6. The heroic sacrifice from a Grid member made me cry like a baby I hate to admit, but time will heal and hope Malcolm will come back some how 7. We saw the wires and barrels that silly Kudos left hanging around. Thankfully GG and his crew quickly took care of the problem before or after filming which ever came first 8. Harry was not himself due to the love of his life being upset with him. I do hope next series Ruth and Harry will kiss and make up along with declaring their love for each other. If not my pitchfork is at the ready Now my question to Gandalf is will he be returning in a few months to start giving us fun inside information for s9? Or will it be a very boring 6 month shoot? Everyone prepare for tonight's episode if you are watching. I cannot believe this is the second to last already. We will be having muffins served tonight in honor of Harry and Ruth. Looking forward to the hand touch as well. Oh, the small little things we are excited for when it comes to those two. Ya'll TA!! End Log

This is the Captain speaking...to all, but especially Gandalf.. First; Are you ever going to come back? If not in this form, then please let us know who will be taking over the helm? Series 8 was fantastic because of you.
Secondly, explain your very obvious favoritism/crush on the First Officer. why her? Why not the rest of the crew too? We've been very devoted? is it because she's the only one who could speak Vulcan and threatened you with that 'neck-pinch' tactic?
Anyway, this trip is coming to another series end. perhaps we'll be back again in the new year? Should our friend, Gandalf decides to join us. You've heard it here first. Stay on the lookout for GG79 Watch 2010 or...should be visited by Gandalf the White. GW Watch 2010.
Happy Christmas all.

AH HA! Yet another GG1979 sighting. Yes, you were spotted Gandalf- lurking around the other forum - during the crew's waking hours no less! That's what - the third time this week? No messages for us? Just keeping up with our thoughts?
It's hard to believe there's only one episode left (well, two for those who have been patient - but I'm not!). Any word on S9? Anyone? And will Gandalf be back - dropping delightful hints?

First officer Log: 3:42pm EST In my very sickly diluted slumber DOC woke me up to inform that Gandalf had been spotted on the SC forum. I sprang to action to let my eyes see for myself. Sure enough he was on. I decided to put my best inner Malcolm into play on this. Now there is a possibility that GG has been lurking around here. If so I hope he is still getting a laugh over this.
Yes Captain it will be a wonder if this watch gets to continue for s9. Will GG continue and bring us cheer during s9 filming or will our hearts be crushed with nothing to enjoy?
Will GG leave a message for us and bring us Christmas cheer?
Back too much needed rest to bring my voice back to a normal state.

First Officer Log: Well as we are slowly coming to an end with the final episode just a few days away the crew are already stirring with the knowledge we will have about 10 months until series 9.
The end of the year is coming and so will this watch. With that I hope everyone has enjoyed s8 overall despite some of our minor complaints, the roaring of cheers that could be heard all around the world for Ruth's return, the tears that have been shed for our beloved characters that have left us, the speculations that were never in short supply of trying to figure out what was going to happen.
Keep in mind for this watch: "These are the voyages of the starship Gandalfgrey Enterprise. It's continuing mission to explore all things Spooks, to seek out new spoilers and new plot lines, to boldly go where no fan has gone before."
Stay tuned next week for the final episode, and for a new watch to emerge in 2010. *Insert Star Trek theme song*
