Sorry have not had a chance to review this ep yet. I was excited to watch it last week when I was across the pond First happy to see Ewen Bremner in this episode as I enjoyed his character in Death at a Funeral. Oooo Christine 2.0 you evil b*^ch!!! I am glad she was able to develop this part of her character much better. Granted the whole time I just want to yell at Lucas for being an idiot and not realizing how evil she is. I really hope either Lucas or Ros kills her before the last second of ep. 8. If not I'd be more then willing to bust a cap on her @ss (bust a cap for those not familiar means to shoot someone). Lucas in this episode does have that I know I should have listened to Harry. Harry is only looking out for Lucas's best interest. Though I think the relationship between Lucas and Christine 2.0 still seems a bit weak for me to believe them. It just does not feel natural or smooth. Ros yes she is clearly still upset about Jo. I really like how she takes control of her emotions. There has been more development of this series with her softer side. Yet she still knows how to kick@ss. I must say though Hermione reminded me of her character Carol Jordan from Wire in the Blood during the torture scene. Don't know why but it just did. Though I have to say very well done on how Ros rationalizes her circumstances. This is far better then having her go off the deep end like Adam and Tom. Harry has great concern for Ros. He does not want to see what happened to Ros totally take her. He knows that losing Ros will be horrible for the team and he needs her. Ruth ah our wonderful analyst how we have missed thee. Is there nothing she can't uncover!?! I love how Ruth is watching the tv in Harry's office! There are other tv's on the Grid yet she goes into his office. Showing how she is becoming more comfortable around him again. Hallelujah she asked Harry out for drinks!!! Now just kiss and make up!! Oh, wait we'll have to wait until s9 if they give us that Grrrr! (I'll tackle Tariq if he keeps interrupting H/R) Really I like how she even was very proud of her self for finding out what she did about Knighting Gale. Her confidence is stronger and she is wanting to please Harry as well. I'm glad she did bring up about not keeping it between Harry and herself about the Home Secretary. Giving that other side of rationalization that is needed. Harry's trust in Ruth is far beyond what it has ever been before in the past. With the ep. overall I do have one big question. Why would Section D have to take care of anything related to the financial side of England? Would that not go to another department. Section D is anti-terrorism. Or I could just be completely wrong here. Finally less shaking of the camera was less motion sickness on this ep. Not only that but the extreme close-ups were not there. As in we could see the actors not being filmed with a computer monitor in their face. Good ep. over all

you know you're a spooks fan when...after the episode aired, you go "location" hunting and re-create a scene from it. i.E. Liverpool station phone towers.
Opening: man being interrogated by Ros and Christine 2.0. battle of the blondes.. who's better? ros...got ICE QUEEN down to an art. Wha-bam to you Christine 2.0. Anyway, dude kinda freaks out, going on the run, calling his other half...screen pulls out, bullet in the hand, child's foot is shown... Insert Spooks Theme.
Ros: You're acting keeps on getting better. So many good lines for you. especially when you're about to hang up villain helper of the week. Mwahahha. Oh dear how you're still suffering from the aftermath of Jo's death. sadly, there's no one left on the grid, so no time to get your feelings sorted by going to a therapist or something. One more episode where you live. Woo!!
Tariq: good job, buddy. You shaved. Cleaned up your hair a bit. Maybe you'd make a great tea trolley person..just kidding. I'm warming up to you. You know you're stuff. Makes me wonder if mum and Dad have ANY idea of what their little angel is really doing for work. Can't forgive you for interrupting a drink between Ruth and Harry. There are moments when the work day is done. Let they go have a moment. Oh well, maybe we can re-shoot and the scene and have the First Officer rugby tackle you out of the scene. Hmmm.
Lucas: Love really hurts, doesn't it. Since christine 2.0 is wearing a pink/rosy color shirt...She's going to not survive well at the end of the series. Also, this watusi tango...wango..needs a new leader. I was hoping that you'd at least stack the deck or play Christine 2.0 better. COME ON! Keep her guessing. make her believe that she's playing you for a fool. Also, with that puny gun, you could have totally taken her down. Oh Lucas. Please please get out of this toxic relationship and go back to beating up the bad guys.
Ruth/Harry: I am so glad to see how much Harry has come to trust in Ruth. There is no one else on the grid who would be able to share a mutual concern about Ros'. Ruth you are Harry's rock. Good to have you back. We've been needing your knowledge.
I give this episode a A-.
