I watched all episodes of 'The Last Train' back-to-back in one day and it was kind of epic. I tweeted to Matthew that I had seen it too and his response was:
"Holy moley!!! You deserve an award. Or free counselling. Depressing ain't it."

Finally making my way through this show. Action running/shooting Nicola in episode 4, I do believe that is most she did between this show and Touching Evil. Love the line 'aye aye skip' that she says. I keep thinking about Lost with this show and how they do have a few things in common on a small level that is. So this was done in between Touching Evil S2 and S3 explains the same hair style she has in both. Stayed up late to finish watching this was it worth getting the answers to the questions that this series had Yes. The ending OMG!!! At least they got the crucifixion right someone did their homework on it. I did get a bit teary eyed for Nicola's character there at the end. In all not a bad sci-fi series. Matthew Graham would have come up with this around or just a bit before the same time him and the others were coming up with Life on Mars!!! Also, the reason it has similarities to Lost is because Matthew and Co. brainstormed the original concept under another title but the BBC couldn't afford to make the series at the time and the writers were more interested in getting LOM off the ground. There was an interview on the writer's section of the BBC website and there is also info in the Life On Mars behind the scenes book. I will try and type up the relevant stuff from the book later if you like Jodie?

I started watching this yesterday and I ended up watching the first 4 in a row. It's definitely one of the stranger series I've ever seen, but I do like it. Going to watch the final two episodes tonight ;D
(for now it's back to doing some much needed revision I'm afraid)

I just think it is great I Tweeted at Mathew about The Last Train and he was shocked someone was watching it from the States. He did say which I'm sure I've posted already that it did cost a lot for this to make and it was done in a 3 month shoot.

Ok finished watching the last two episodes now. I enjoyed this very much, but it was strange though. Especially the ending. Interesting storyline, I wonder how on earth Matthew Graham came up with this! Ok he came up with Life on Mars as well, but that's a whole other story.
Nicola's acting was great as always though.
