I agree with the longer hair. Then again this was the late 90's which at least fashion style wasn't as horrid as it was 7 years earlier. I got hooked on the show. I really do enjoy seeing Nicola in a different role. She has more of back bone and not take crap. I thought it was great to see her bust a door open! Rock on to that!!! Waiting to watch the next in the series.

I just finished up the first series. I am really enjoying it so far. It is soooo great to see her out of Spooks and in a different role. It took me a while to get used to the shorter hair. It was the 90's and the technology wow how far have we come since 1997! I really like seeing a different side of Nicola's acting in this the range is different from Spooks. It isn't too far off from The Last Train so that is interesting. Yet nice to see her play a different role. Then again I would love to have seen one of her plays but it really doesn't help that I live on the wrong side of the pond! Just from the few different things that I have seen her in Shooting Dogs, Last Train and this she has a great range in her acting. Kudos to her for it!!!! Just wish I could see some of the stuff that they aren't putting on DVD here for us in the states like the role that she did with the kidnapping of the kid (can't remember the title off the top of my head). Well rolling on with Series 2

I also finished series 1 this week, and I really liked it. The short hair actually helped me get used to her as a different character. I also love Robson Green (Those eyes! : Loves him in Wire In The Blood as well (did you notice that both actresses who acted as his support role ended up in Spooks? )

TG I must have missed the two actresses. I noticed that in the ep. 3 of S1 the blond teenage girl played Charlotte in the new Pride and Prejudice with Mathew M. and Kira Knightly. The other lady from the college was in Jam and Jerusalem (aka Clatteford here in the States). I just started S2 which was cool to see NW actually use a gun so she has that don't mess with me at times. And Robson Green (that uni brow i just want to was that ) I do like the tension between Creegan and Taylor. Love her character in the first ep. of S2 so far and some of th stuff she says cracks me up. I will comment more after I make my way through the episode and watch another one.

I wanted to shave off Robson Green's unibrow and also wax his hairy chest. *Shudders
Actually, cbjfan.. I was the one who pointed out New Charlotte Lucas to you.

By two actresses I meand NW on Touching Evil and Hermione Norris on Wire In The Blood, which is actually always a problematic point for me because she was excellent in WITB and I hated to see her leave (actually stopped watching after that), but she left in order to do Spooks, so I guess it was all for the best

I don't think I have heard of Wire in the Blood looks like I will have to check that one out. TG have you noticed that the stairs they use in Touching Evil have been used in Spooks.
You are right Soy forgot that you mentioned about the actress.
I finished up watching the 1 ep. in S2 last night. OK what is up with Taylor and shady psycho man. Come on she should have seen that coming. I just wanted to smack her up side the head for getting it on with him. Hello even I could see it from a mile away that this guy was up to no good.
Even though Taylor and Creegan's relationship has been compared to that from the X-Files I can see it. Though I never watched X-Files but from what I have heard I do agree.

What part of.."don't sleep with Shady men, though they give the best shag"...does Taylor not understand? LOL!
I totally agree about the Mulder/Scully comparison. You have Mulder/Creegan who moves to his own drummer and believes in the unexplanable. Scully/Taylor is more of a realist but is willing to stand by her partner.

Finished S2 will start 3 later today. So I was thinking what if we could combine Taylor/Ruth into one character? I think that would be a kick @ss character!!
Creegan still needs his unibrow waxed!!!!
NW's hair that short would look better if it were more of a pixie style. At least I have gotten used to it being that short.
I do like how the series ties itself together. The story about the kids sooo heart breaking!
TG I don't know if you have the host lady that explains the episodes at the beginning of each ep. I do. Soysauce figured out that she is a former Bond girl! But from the James Bond film that no one really liked "On her Majesty's Secret Service".

Started S3 which looks to only be two disc's which is a shame. I like how Andy Serkis is in the first ep. which is another connection to Spooks. He did the ep. with the rock star and his wife who's son died. I think I'm going to play 6 degrees seperation now that I've met the cast of Spooks So I am now connected to the Lord of the Rings and Lost peeps as well. Anyway back to the ep. it really is a great ep. I think my fav. of the whole show and it really brings out the best acting from both Walker and Robson. (unibrow still not waxed Grrr!!! ) I can't remember if it is is Me and Mrs. Jones? hmm..... I might have to watch that again and just to see Peter Firth looking great as well an added bonus!!!!

Just finished watching the show tonight, It is a really good show, although it does feel a bit dated... The one thing I didn't like was Creegan's choice of women - first there was Annie in series two, which to be honest I'm almost sure there's a rule somewhere against personal involvement with key witnesses in an investigation and then there was Hannah, which I just really really didn't like at all. and poor Susan - all she had was this one time thing with a psychotic killer... PS: I have the British DVDs, no lady explaining the episodes in them

I'm working my way through TE - I finished series 2 and need to locate series 3 - It's throughly enjoyable! Although, I find I really have to pay attention or I miss things.
NW is awesome (as usual!) - And the really short hair also threw me for a bit. Susan is so different than Ruth! But it's a good kind of different - I would imagine actors would become bored playing the same types of people. Well done! On wards to Series 3.
And yes, I do want to wax RG eyebrows.
