First Officer: LMAO Doc!!!!!! Maybe next week we should try and put out some sort of food as well crisps, Mars candy (love that candy bar), biscuits... I'll hide up in another tree and be on the look out to let you know when Gandalf gets closer. Wednesdays are no longer fun and full of promise of something to look forward to anymore. Very sad. Yes I think we need to do some bribing we'll have to think of a good list of foods and beer to try and get our dear Gandalf to come out from hiding. Oh, Gaaaandaaaalf where have you gone from us? !!! ~First Officer

First Officers Log
Wanted to make an official statement that the Captain has been shore leave of late. She has decided to follow her hero Capt. Kirk in the grand old fashion of 'international love' findings. HAHAHHAHA!!!!!
Hmmm.... I think I should go and do the same but alas someone has to stay here and keep watch.
Captain will return when she is ready End log

MEDICAL LOG
Phew! A Gandalf sighting at last! Just in time, too, as I was about to dive into the gin - and we really might need that come S8.
I am prepared to hand over the beer trap to our loyal security chief and first officer- I accidentally knocked the stick out of the way while replacing the beer (which had warmed over the course of the week) with some straight out of the fridge. I spent a few hours trapped in my own box waiting to be let out. It's becoming an episode of Wylie E. Coyote and the Roadrunner around here.
[Hangs head in shame, hands over end of string, and shuffles back to Sickbay] I vow to continue to supply the bait for the trap! If the beer doesn't work again this week, we will have to consider our options!
Awaiting the return of our lovely Captain!

MEDICAL LOG
Alas! The sighting of GG1979 early Tuesday morning gave us faulty hope! Gandalf has given us the slip again as Wednesday was met with silence.
Sickbay has been quiet busy with the crew complaining of headaches (no doubt from pondering the tiny morsels Gandalf has previously left us) and anxiety (awaiting S8). Our First Officer stubbed her toe after kicking our box trap after failing to catch GG1979 this week and I fear we are several red shirts down!
With Gandalf playing with our emotions and nothing official from the BBC, we have no choice but to perceiver! We are settling in for a long wait . . . beer and goodies sitting under the box, string in hand, waiting until next week . . .
Will Gandalf appear again?
Will our clever "box trap" plan work?
Will the BBC offer up a press packet or a specific date to look forward to?
And will we lose more red shirts in the process?
Stay tuned . . .

First Officer reporting in:
My stubbed toe is feeling better now. I got a little excited on Tue. thinking that we might have bribed Gandalf with what was in the box. Then got a little more excited as I'll be taking some much needed shore leave to Gandalf's home planet come first week of Dec. Very excited to be seeing NW's play which will be awesome. I might be bold and try and approach our dear friend GG79 again when I'm over there. Maybe able to personally give out a bribe for information on a possible s9, and if the show has not finished showing find out some other possible information. Must do research to learn GG's fav. choice of drink and to reset the box with it ;D
Though with the loss of a few red shirts I am confident that the next group of red shirts will probably be loss to the cause. Seems a natural thing that happens sadly, though one day a red shirt will emerge victoriously and not end up dead I'm sure of it. (hahahaha I'm crazy!!! Silly me!!)
Things have been very quiet of late on ship. With that it has offered me time to enjoy the start up of my favorite pass time watching College Football as it kicked off on Sat. The sweet smell of Victory as my team Ohio State beat out Navy. I also saw a bit of the Berkley game they won as well, there's the shout-out for the hoodie!! ;D ;D
I will keep my eyes open for possible BBC press packs.
Must meet with our Security Officer who seems to be slacking with helping on this bribe box to catch GG79.
I am hoping our "box trap" plan will work. I'll have to consult with the magic 8 ball on this. It has been right so far on other occasions when asked about GG79 leaving posts and not going away just yet.
Will Gandalf ever post on here too and catch us off guard as we are sleeping on the job??
So many more questions to ask yet so little time....
Signing off for the day First Officer

Another Wednesday came and went. I think Doc you are going to have to keep all of us alive from the boredom until s8 starts up. Then again you need to get well first yourself!

MEDICAL LOG-
If Gandalf has slipped in and away unnoticed, I fear I have been too sidetracked to notice. I have let not one, but two Wednesdays pass with no update (not that there's been much to update). Last week GG1979 may have passed, but I was too busy celebrating a birthday - another year older, but not wiser! This week Sickbay is under quarantine! The flu has taken out many red shirts and myself! Thankfully the early quarantine seems to have worked and it has not spread to the other areas of the ship. Still - communications with the rest of the crew has lifted my spirits (that and the gin . . .)!
I'm hoping next week will bring a small GG1979 sighting and well as a release from Sickbay!

MEDICAL LOG
The quarantine has been lifted from Sickbay and everyone has returned to their posts. The crew is enduring yet another week of quiet -- will the void end before madness consumes us?
I have become increasingly concerned for Gandalf's welfare. I am positive the illness was limited to Sickbay, but just to be safe, I have added some antibiotics next to the beer and other goodies under the box. (Heeeeere Gandalf, Gandalf!)
Perhaps the Grey wizard has abandoned us -- Perhaps they are too busy wrestling a Balrog -- Perhaps they will reappear next year as Gandalf the White? NO! NO! I tell you! Surely Gandalf will check in at some point -- at least to wish us a happy S8. Keeping my eyes peeled . . .

First Officers Log: Good Morning Campers I just want to say a major THANK YOU to Doc who called me last night to read this article as I still do not have internet at home GRRRRR!!! The article was found on the AA forum and then also posted up on the SC forum wonderful job to both forums for their work! i630.photobucket.com/albums/uu25/cbjfan97/IdiotBox.jpgWhy am I posting here and not the theories I'll tell you. The interview with Richard Armitage mentions his Love Interest and going back to what GG79 said about Love is All Around we know now who it is. I would like to state that my guesses that I have posted was not what I actually knew. I've actually guessed this ages ago it seems but that was kept as a private conversation, because *devilish laugh* I do know how to keep secrets!.... To quote my fav. Jane Austen ch. Elizabeth Bennet "How much I will have to conceal" .......... But to point out that from the beginning the Captain and I never doubted our friend Gandalf and who they say they are. This article goes to prove once again that our friend has not mislead us fans. THANK YOU Gandalf for all those snippets of info you have left us. Yes the interview finally made it official that Nicola is back. *HAPPY DANCE HAPPY DANCE* I soooooo cannot wait for S8 now this is going to an awesome series!!!! Doc I will agree with you I wish Gandalf would come back. Sad if not End Log

MEDICAL LOG
I have returned from my away mission to find a few treats, but nothing official from GG1979. Am now convinced Gandalf has bid adieu at least until next year. Sad. Was at least hoping for a wave goodbye.
After checking in with the First Officer - via emergency communication - about the RA article and then Ian Wylie's 8.1 blog, I am thrilled with confirmation that Gandalf's intel has the ring of truth.
The crew continues to "chop at the bit" as we wait for more info - and a release date for S8. Still nothing from the BBC. Sigh. But two articles in two weeks, I guess we mustn't be greedy. Things seem to remain at a slow pace and we entertain ourselves as best we can - chewing over "new" morsels and comparing them to the old, attempting to come up with new theories, laying more traps for Gandalf (Would you fancy a biscuit, GG?), Spooks marathons, and rousing tournaments of table tennis (And no, First Officer, I don't think its fair to distract other crew members by mentioning Harry and Ruth while serving . . . I totally could have returned that volley - I demand a rematch!).
Awaiting further intel and orders.

First Officer Log: Well after a very long meeting with the Officers of the ship much has been discussed in terms of direction for our mission. After gathering some intelligence over the past few weeks we have concluded that Gandalf has disappeared officially due to his superiors being off on another mission at the moment it would seem he is left to not discuss any further on s8. Unofficially we think he might or more so wishful thinking could be coming and visiting without our knowledge. We are having security look further into the situation just in case if there might be any hostile take over planned. Our intel into an official air date still is yet to be determined. Yes we have decided to also look into other ways of passing the time while we wait. Reading new stories by other crew members, we are down to the final four in our table tennis tournament (my tactic still continues with talks of Harry and Ruth along with showing pictures of Harry continue to distract crew members) I am determined to dominate.., some have found time for keeping up international relations , many hours spent acting out Spooks episodes on the holo-deck have really helped "gather" information about possible theories for s8, but mostly encouraged strange behavior to which will not be tolerated while on duty. As for where our mission will lead us now much R&R is needed to keep us fresh for the upcoming series. There is a possible planned trip to the city of Bermondsey during the first week of Dec. to check for life forms on the A2A station. That is a mission still in development as the Captain and I are still considering our options to whether or not it will be worth investigating. I am off to go back to the holo-deck must take care of a situation with Harry First Officer

It is with regret that I must log the events that are happening to us as a crew at the moment. It has come to our apparent discomfort that the inhabitants of Kudos, which we have discovered in the past to have been friendlies, have decided to turn some what hostile towards us by using the subtle but deadly torture technique known as SDSUAWWAWWA . Which translates to 'Sit Down, Shut Up And Wait! We'll Air When We Air!' It is highly effective causing this security cheif to take a leave until the offenders choose to lift the deadly device off the crew. I wish the rest of the crew well and I appoligise that I could not tackle this threat. But it is too much for just one to handle.
Over and out.

Captain's Log
After a strange detour to Mars and being help captive by Daleks, your faithful Captain has returned. I miss you all and am pleased to see the ship so well taken care of. It's good to be back.

I am happy to report the SDSUAWWAWWA torture device has been lifted and is no longer crippling our crew. Though a new threat has come upon us. The ICBRMHAF TICCIIT* has taken hold and is causing panic in minds of all those present. As Security Chief this is troubling. There have been a few outbursts resulting in verbal debates that I have had to break up. As well as a couple nervous breakdowns (one from myself) but nothing too serious. Our fears will hopefully be put to rest in a fortnight. We shall see. Until then I will continue to try to diffuse the panic.
